Trainee Sub Surface Utility Information (SUI) Techician is a challenging but rewarding position. Under the supervision of an SUI Engineer you will learn how to use electronic locating techniques, and non destructive excavation and survey processes to generate 3D images of underground Utility systems. These maps are critical to the design and construction of major infrastructure projects.

The Job Details
- Becoming expert in reading and understanding DBYD and AS Built service plans
- Learning advanced electronic locating techniques from skilled Durkin staff
- Gaining Proficiency in pavement coring and non destructive excavation
- Developing Surveying and Data Reduction skills
- Acquiring Site Engineering skills
- Assisting with Contract Administration
Opportunities exist for promotion to Technician and Senior Technician.
This position will suit someone who likes problem solving and has good visualisation skills
The following skills and qualifications are required:
- HSC
- Australian Residency
- Australian Manual Car licence
