Now Careers are currently recruiting an junior Estimator (1/2years exp) specialising in refurb and fit out projects. The client you will be working for is a privately owned Australian business who specialise in refurb and fit out projects within live environment health projects, workspace, retail refurbishments, commercial.

The Role

You will be given autonomy in your role, and look to estimate and win work for the company to continue the growth of the business. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Analysis of estimating data for commercial refurbishments and fit outs.
• Estimating Refurb and Fit out projects up to $5m
• Being responsible for the quality estimations
• Providing estimate preparation plans and schedules to management
• Building excellent relationships with clients, supervisors and contractors are all essential
• Negotiating with Suppliers and Procurement
• Attend regular team meetings for strategy, forecasting and training

Key Requirements

• 1-3 years experience estimating on fit out and refurb jobs up to $5m.
• A Tertiary qualification would be highly regarded
• Commercially minded with good Negotiation skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to deal with Clients, Supervisors and Contractors.
• A desire to work in an environment that promotes quality above all else
• Dedicated to growing the business name and reputation
