Your new role

• Managing project with values from electrical contract values $1m to $20m.
• Multi-faceted role including project management, contract management, variation preparations.
• Preparation of scope of works, including budgets and cost plans for sub contracted works.
• Monitor and control all budgeted project expenditures ensuring financial records for the project are maintained and reported to senior management.
• Liaising with clients and external stakeholders, ensuring current relationships are upheld and new relationships are built.
• Ensuring compliance with all company and statutory OHS+E obligations.
• Liaising with local authorities such as Evo Energy and Access Canberra.
• A high level of Microsoft Office experience, including MS Projects and Excel
   

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong technical knowledge of the local electrical trade and construction industry in the ACT
• Proven background in project management and financial control experience
• Experience within the commercial (essential), defence, data centre, health sector (desirable)
• Very strong client facing skills including dealing in both front and back end negotiations.
