About the Role

 

Southern Cross Care is looking for a full-time Customer Service Officer, based at Central Office in Rivervale. Please note, this position is contracted for six (6) months, with the potential to extend. 

 

The role calls for someone who wants to:

·         Work in a passionate, entrepreneurial team with big plans and a real sense of urgency

·         Ensure accurate and reliable verification of job seeker credentials and identity documents

·         Submit police checks and other requests to the relevant authorities

·         Follow the agreed process consistently

·         Deliver excellent customer support, using good initiative and judgement to solve customer problems

·         Liaise with direct team and service team to ensure good end-to-end customer experiences

·         Enthusiastically find opportunities to improve our service and help resolve any operational issues

·         Experience in working in Technology/ CRM systems application

·         Good time management skills

·         Sales & networking skills Ability to adapt and work with dynamic and changing work environments

·         Exceptional organisational and time management skills, the ability to prioritise responsibilities, multi-task and work autonomously

·         Strong experience in B2C customer support, including enquiry management & help centres

·         Positive, can-do, and resilient attitude, ability to show initiative and take ownership of outcomes

·         Customer-focused mindset, with excellent written & verbal communication skills

·         Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to handling tasks

·         Good collaboration abilities, interpersonal flexibility and openness to adapt to different perspectives

·         Willingness to learn as the business grows as we grow

  

The following criteria are desirable but not essential:  

·         Previous experience working with government agencies

·         High-level understanding of, or desire to learn, aged care sector (Home care & Residential)

·         Knowledge of Procura and/or People Point Systems
