We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader to join our Medical Information Exchange (MIE) team in Prahran.
Our MIE (Medical Information Exchange) team work on behalf of Insurers in coordinating the collection of medical reports to assist our clients in processing customer applications and claims
The role of a Team Leader is a mix of service delivery & client engagement as well as leadership responsibilities to lead, motivate, develop and coach a small team of Case Officers to achieve successful outcomes for our clients & their customers.  

In this role you will be responsible for:
Establishing and growing strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
Designing and implementing innovative solutions and to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the product offering.
Supporting & Developing Team Members 
Provide a high level advice of service when handling MIE cases

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must also have:
A minimum of 12 Months experience leading a high performance team
Previous experience in a leadership role within a the insurance sector 
A Strong understanding of the insurance application and/or claims process
You will be required to undergo a National Police Check with continued employment at UHG subject to a successful Police Check.
