My client has established themselves as a Fast Growing Leader within the Residential Building / Construction sectors of Australia - boasting a large range of Lighting, Home Automation, Audio and Security products they offer quality technology solutions from their suppliers and make the task of choosing what solutions best works for your build - a breeze.

Their Design Consulting Team is able to offer product suggestions as well as technical support, while working within your time schedule and budget to provide you with a complete "home" solution to match your Residential Building needs.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to forecasted market growth through NSW they are looking for a professional and personable Design Consultant to join their Sydney Team.

  • Liaising one on one with clients in the Showroom offering support in the selection and specification of lighting, security, home automation and audio products
  • Assisting to create product design plans to fit the customer's needs
  • ** Please Note - Full training in the online design system will be provided
  • Up-selling and offering product suggestions based on specific customer needs
  • Delivering excellennce in Customer service
  • Offering technical support
  • Managing plans, quotations and preparing final drafts for customer approval

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will:

  • Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to build repour quickly
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Sales / Customer service experience within a Showroom environment
  • Related product experience - lighting, security, paint, tiles, carpet - building interior products
  • Attention to detail when preparing and processing orders
  • An Interior Design background will be highly regarded
  • Team focused but also the ability to work autonomously
  • Self motivated & solid time management skills
  • Someone who wants to "make a difference to their customers"
