Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) is owned and operated by the Australian chamber movement. Collectively and through our individual state policy units, we are consistently engaged in policy interaction with State and Federal Governments regarding education, training and skills issues, providing high-level input and recommendations to support employers’ engagement in a range of workforce skill-development programs.

Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) is contracted by the Australian Government to provide skills development advice and solutions to businesses across Australia as part of the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN).

About the role:

As an integral part of Apprenticeship Support Australia, the service provided by the contact centre encompasses multiple aspects of the business including inbound telephone support and end-to-end customer contact with Employers, Apprentices, Parents, registered training organisations and internal Stakeholders.

As the Contact Centre Manager your focus will be to manage the daily running of the contact centre, leading and mentoring a dedicated team of 6

Take charge of effective resource planning and implementing strategies and operations. Manage and assist the team with the increase of sales through customer care, lead nurturing and telesales activity. You will be a part of a friendly and high achieving team, which strives on building credibility and relationships both internally and externally.

About You:

  • You will have significant experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing a  busy Contact Centre
  • Have the ability to train, coach and mentor staff and lead by example, providing positive mentorship
  • Capability to manage escalation calls with a professional solution based style approach 
  • Create and maintain a great culture by developing initiatives to engage and motivate your team
  • Manage the day to day operations including rostering, timekeeping, recruitment and training
  • Ensure consistent performance and quality of results
