The Client:
Our client is a vibrant and energetic DRTV company who specialise in home shopping, retail, push-to-web and off-air sales.  Distributing to over 600 countries around the globe they are highly successful in direct response television campaigns for a variety of businesses predominately within the beauty, fitness and lifestyle arenas.
 
The Role:
This diverse position focuses on keeping our customers happy and requires an enormous amount of initiative, enthusiasm and good judgment on your behalf.  Reporting directly to the Call Centre Manager, your duties will include but will not be limited to:
 
  • Responsible for successfully handling customer queries via phone, email, Facebook, Product Review, Live Chat and other forums
  • Complaints resolution; handling product returns, coaching customers on how to correctly use the products and attempting to retain and convert each potential refund
  • Manning of reception area including opening and closing procedures and directing phone calls to appropriate areas
  • Downloading orders for dispatch, product tracking and liaising with warehouse staff
  • Ordering of office supplies including stationary and incidentals
  • Responsible for daily incoming and outgoing mail
  • Hands-on housekeeping duties; emptying the bins and dishwasher, ensure meeting room and kitchen area are clean and tidy at all times (we all work together as a team for this)
  • Assist with freight requirements when required
  • Computer related tasks using Apple software including; utilising drop box and a high level of MS Excel creating and maintaining spreadsheets (must have good IT skills and a fast type speed)
  • Creating and maintaining reports on returned stock and refunds
  • Monitor delivery time of products and improve customer experience
  • Manage Bank and PayPal disputes within appropriate timeframes and provide report
  • Dispatch Ebay, Deals Direct and Amazon orders
  • Update and maintain weekly refund report
  • Take a keen interest in the products that are being sold and become an expert with your product knowledge
 
About You:
To thrive in this role you will be consistently looking for ways to gain more positive customer reviews, and always looking for avenues to reduce costs for the business. Your main goal should be to overall improve the customers experience.  You will be respectful to our internal / external customers and will always deliver on what you have promised, ensuring you follow up where necessary.
