We have a great opportunity to expand on your collections career and join the Asset Realisation team of this leading financial institution. The purpose of this team is to ensure the best outcome for our customers whilst maximising recovery of delinquent mortgage accounts and minimising risk and potential losses. Your day will include:

Negotiating the collection of outstanding mortgage and commercial payments and setting up quality payment arrangements

Managing the recovery of accounts, including provisioning and foreclosure procedures

Timely actioning of relevant legal processes

Managing the marketing and sale of residential and commercial properties

Communicating and negotiating with clients, real estate agents, solicitors, trustees, and other third parties

Some loss recovery work including skip tracing where required

Ensure that all collections abide by the Privacy Act, Trade Practices Act and National Consumer Credit Protection Act.
In order to be successful in this role you will possess exceptional negotiation skills, attention to detail, complex problem solving, data and risk analysis, management of customer relationships whilst simultaneously addressing complex and escalated issues. This role requires an individual who has the innate ability to cure and manage accounts, whilst maintaining a sensitive, empathetic relationship with the customers.
