The Customer Service Consultant supports the achievement of API's Vision by responding to telephone calls from customers and suppliers on matters relating to product availability, pricing, delivery issues, order status, product information, credits and to enter orders into API's internal computer system.

Based at our Dandenong South location, we are seeking a full time team member who is passionate about delivering superior Customer Service, and is looking to join a vibrant organisation.

Key accountabilities:

  • Respond to queue calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Take sales orders from customers and suppliers and enter data into the computer system
  • Attend to customer and supplier queries in relation to stock and availability
  • Proactively promote API's products and services
  • Respond to customer's needs and expectations

    Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in a call centre environment
  • SAP experience preferred but not essential
  • Experience in a retail or pharmaceutical business preferred but not essential
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Outstanding telephone manner
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to build strategic relationships, both internally and externally

The role will be paid as per the site Enterprise Agreement hourly rate.

The successful candidate will work as part of our close knit and successful team and will have the opportunity to increase their skills and further their career with assistance from various mentoring and training programs.
