INTERNAL SALES Customer Support Representative Inbound/Outbound



Programmed Timber Supplies is all about adding "value" to our clients by manufacturing and providing them with timber components to suit their ongoing business needs.

We service the frame and truss industry, furniture industry and pallet industry on a business to business level. We ensure their ongoing scheduled programme of delivery of timber components is methodical and timely.

We are looking for an internal sales person customer support representative to service the needs of the company's existing clients, support the activities of the external sales team and liaise with production. (Inbound/outbound)

This position is well suited to individuals with excellent communication & people skills, attention to detail and is one of the best ways for anyone considering an outbound sales role to gain relevant experience.

The internal sales representative will play a critical role in the maintenance of the current sales base working cooperatively with both internal departments and external customers ensuring Programmed Timber Supplies delivers on its commitment to exceptional customer service and sales support.

By working collaboratively the internal sales representative will create transparency into the current and future orders of current customers with a goal of meeting and exceeding revenue expectations and maximising every opportunity to deliver on our customer commitment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain the highest possible support relations with customers by effectively employing advanced levels of skill with regards to the knowledge of the customer's business, their organisation and knowledge of internal process requirements.
• Support sales to meet monthly/quarterly/annual goals established by senior management.
• Co-ordinate on a monthly basis "planned sales" onto the system. Planned sales are the pipeline of the programmed order requirements of current customers for the following month allowing production to use this for their planning.
• Liaise with current customers and manage any variations of order requirements, dates required, customer and order acknowledgements. Provide solutions and alternatives to customers to meet their needs.
• Receive inbound /outbound customer inquiries.
• Process sales orders and administration of products/services sold.
• Maintain monthly statistics and records.
• Reviewing of orders, forecast and backlog to ensure order coverage.
• Analyse data and prepare "planned sales" from past data.
• Manage/Co-ordinate the "total process" from preparing planned sales, customer liaison and order acknowledgement.
• Liaise with other departments to successfully achieve the overall management of the customer’s orders.
• Identify sales leads and escalate them to external sales staff.
• Maintain client databases and other duties will be required.

• Liaise with manufacturing to ensure production is meeting scheduled delivery dates.
• Co-ordinate delivery of contract processing wood flow with customers.

Qualifications and Experience:

Customer service Skills and Internal  customer sales (inbound/Outbound ) with a minimum 2 years experience. Manufacturing Industry
