My client, located in Melbourne's inner-city suburbs, is a Financial Services firm that was established in the 80's and provides accounting and financial advice across Australia. The business believes in a fully integrated financial services offering - which includes Financial Planning, Accounting, Business Coaching, Legal and Lending. 

 The team has grown from from a couple of staff to over 50 since they started and they don't see this slowing down. At the moment, the way the business is structured there is a need for someone to come in as an 'all-rounder' in the team. This person would be responsible for the following - 

- Attending client meetings
- Possible managing/minding of a client book
- Assisting in providing strategic guidance (Complex)
- Responsible for modelling/projections (Complex)
- Workflow management
- Compliance
- Mentoring/leading other members of the team 
- Managing external partner relationships

As you can see from the responsibilities involved in this role, there will be a number of options for future career progression and my client will support you no matter which way you choose to go such as practice management, team leadership of the Paraplanning team, advisory or just maintaining your all rounder position whilst training others up in the business. 
  
What is my client looking for?

- Someone who is creative, that is not afraid to come up with ideas and suggestions for the team and the future of the business
- Someone that will make the role their own, and not someone who likes to work by an exact 'job description'
- A degree relevant to business or finance
- MINIMUM 5 years experience (This can include some paraplanning, some client services)
- Someone that is confident in front of clients, and presents very well but still comes across as relaxed and a people's person
