The Role
We are looking for an Information Risk Manager (IRM) to join ING Australia. This is a 2^nd Line of Defence (LoD) role that will work to develop and embed risk management processes within ING with the aim of assuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and supporting systems.
The IRM Manager will be responsible for advising 1^st LoD about new and updated Global Non-Financial Risk Policies, Minimum Standards and Procedures related to IRM, Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Personal and Physical Security Risk.
The successful candidate for this role will be a trust senior IRM and BCM advisor who will direct, advise and support the identification, analysis and mitigation of risks to ING that result from inadequate security of information. In addition, the IRM Manager will challenge and monitor IT and Continuity risk management processes and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a lead on the Governance, Policy and risk appetite in relation to Information Risk, Continuity Risk and Personal and Physical Sec Risk
- Risk identification and assessment (Change/Projects/RARP/RCSA/Remediation/BEA/Scenario Analysis/Outsourcing)
- Perform periodical Spot Checks, as well as Quality Assurance on the IT within Risk Appetite Program
- Personal and Physical Security monitoring and challenging
- Identify and pursue solutions to manage operational risks
- Tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, business or information technology
- Professional education and international certifications for Information (Technology) and Business Continuity Risk Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Risk, IT background within financial services
- Knowledge It Security, Data Management, Concepts in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Cybercrime, Operational Risk Framework and governance
- Understanding of technology industry standards (ISO)
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with all levels of management to influence decisions, make recommendations and implement changes
