The Role

• Review and update marketing material information
• Assist with the coordination of legislative, regulatory, contractual and other compliance processes
• Assist with the development and maintenance of regulatory policies, procedures and compliance programs
• Assist with the roll-out and maintenance of compliance related software systems to manage compliance obligations
• Assist with risk management and risk reporting activities 
• Train and monitor individuals 
• Ad-hoc duties

Skills and Experience
  
Lawyers who are looking to get into the compliance field encouraged to apply

• 2+ years’ experience in a compliance function – ideally insurance
• Law degree is desired but other relevant tertiary qualifications will suffice
• Have an interest in current regulatory trends and their impact on the business community
• Good understanding of ASIC Regulatory guides 
• Extremely good communication as you will be dealing extensively with account managers
• A willingness to learn new skills and pick up new tasks
• Good team player due to the close-knit nature of the business
