ABOUT THE COMPANY
Due to organic growth, a fulfilling and newly created opportunity is available for a Paraplanner to join this well established financial services practice based in Melbourne CBD.  They are professional, discrete and hold a focus on a core group of clients that value their services and advice.  This firm provides a multidisciplinary approach to assisting clients achieve their lifestyle and financials objectives. 

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be working with a highly experienced Financial Planning team and providing a consistent level of professional technical support and creating high-quality SOAs.   Responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders to prepare and manage all documentation to ensure compliance.  Where you will be assisting the team in the achievement of company goals and the ongoing delivery of quality service.  

DUTIES

• Preparing personalised Statements of Advice (SoA's)  
• Assisting with creating personal investment strategies for clients to meet their goals and objectives
• Provision of office support for Managing Director, General Manager and Associate Advisor
• Managing ad hoc duties including updating CRM database & making sure files are compliant

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• RG 146 Qualification is critical
• Bachelor degree in Accounting will be highly regarded
• Advanced Excel skills 
• Knowledge of Australian Tax system
• Excellent understanding of current legislative and regulatory requirements
• High attention to detail is critical
