The Organisation
Our client is one of the major foreign banks in Australia who provide Corporate Finance, Trade Finance, Treasury Services and Private Banking services to multinational enterprises and intermediaries.
This role is an integral function to provide support to all Relationship Managers across the Front Office in all facets of tasks from deal origination to post settlement portfolio management.
The Role
- Work closely with Directors and Associate Directos in credit analysis, risk profiling, monitoring, report writing and submission
- Gather preclearence KYC documents, financial statements etc., assist with structureing and excution of bilateral, club, participation debt transactions
- Accountable for revenue targets derived from deal origination and portfolio management
- Attend marketing events in conjunction with RMs, maintain relevant industry knowledge and provide valuable input into sector policie
- Adhere to AMLCTF & KYC rules and corporate policies in Credit, Risk and Compliance
The Requirements
- 3-5 years' business / commercial credit experience in a Commercial / Corporate Bank operating in the Australian market
- Min. 1 year in maintaining and assisting the relationship function
- Genuine interest in the Australian financial markets (diversified industries) with updated knowledge about your familiar portfolio
- Good understanding about Commercial Lending, Property Financing and/or Project Financing
- Tertiary degree in Commerce, Business, International Trade or Finance
- Client centric at all times, and can maintain a high level of initiatives
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to manage large value transactions from origination to close, producing quality results
