Our client is a leading global property funds player with an expanding footprint in Asia-Pac. Due to on-going growth, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Funds Management professional to join the Sydney office. 

The role will contribute significantly to the business growth within APAC
through;

• analysis of new (outbound) debt opportunities including initial screening, financial modeling, research, underwriting and ongoing management and reporting and,
• analysis of (Inbound) debt requirements for new and existing equity investments, liaison with lenders and capital providers, sourcing of term sheets, detailed negotiation with lenders through to successful financial closings with ongoing management of loan covenants to ensues timely and accurate compliance with internal and external management reporting.
• Modeling of relevant investment opportunities for the General Account and 3rd party investment management business including sensitivity analysis, population of international tax, leverage and currency models.
• Support the Treasury and Portfolio Management functions in regard to debt investment documentation negotiations, due diligence, project management, investment committee approvals, finance and closing real estate debt transactions
• Participate and contribute in real estate debt discussions, meetings and teleconferences as required
• Provide operational support where required, particularly across the risk management and compliance function in establishing processes and procedures

You will possess; 

• 8 - 10 years experience within the funds management or property industries, with a combination of office, retail, industrial, development, hotels and real estate debt market understanding.
• Advanced Excel & financial modelling skills, PowerPoint valuation software DYNA (ARGUS) and an aptitude to learn new systems and database quickly
• Strong understanding of major investment markets across all property sectors, including debt and real assets.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to create and run detailed financial analysis for international real estate investment.
• Degree in business, accountancy finance + CA / CFA qualification
• Well developed communication & stakeholder management skills
