In this role you will be responsible for maximizing the profitable sale of finance, credit insurance, motor insurance, GAP insurance and extended warranties to a minimum of published manufacturers penetration levels and develop and maintain close contact with suppliers to maximize the profit to the division and provide an effective service to our customers.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Be responsible for the development and coaching of your team by:
    • Conducting on the job coaching sessions with each of your team at a minimum of once a week, ensuring key learning is embedded in practice
    • Conducting monthly reviews with each of your team, covering prior months performance, completion of previously agreed actions and highlighting success areas and documenting agreed actions for improvement
    • Conducting quarterly development discussions with each of your staff, helping them to identify growth opportunities, and supporting them in delivery
    • Conducting annual and mid year performance reviews, providing clear feedback and support on delivery against Performance Objectives and Performance Drivers
  • Monitor, manage, and motivate your team on their achievement to performance expectations
  • Ensure your team are held accountable at all times for delivery of the core requirements of their role within agreed processes
  • To ensure all documentation, quotes etc are prepared and returned on time
  • To ensure that no penalties or delay are incurred by incorrect or late return of documentation
  • To complete all internal weekly/monthly reports or returns promptly

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a similar client facing / customer service role
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Certification for F&I or willingness/ability to obtain
  • People management experience including developing and mentoring others
  • Exceptional organisation, planning and execution skills
