The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established Melbournian investment house who are seeking to grow their financial analysis team. This role will primarily focus on supporting the Portfolio Managers as well as the Head of Institutional Capital. The broad mandate of this role includes day to day modelling, forecasting and distribution analysis and commentary, preparation of fund statistics and scenario analysis. 

The Challenge

The successful candidate will have significant interaction with members of the firm's real estate investment teams, legal/compliance, finance and other groups within the broader firm. 

Specifically your responsibilities will include: 

• Production of regular investment reporting to internal and external stakeholders
• Supporting the portfolio managers with fund analysis
• Maintenance of ongoing enhancements of portfolio financial models and performance measurement tools
• Cash flow forecasts and distribution analysis from all funds
• Scenario analysis across the funds and investor communications

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills (VBA)
• 3+ years experience
• Relevant experience in funds management and or project financing as an analyst or member of a finance team

*The successful candidate will be articulate, professional and very corporate as this role requires not only the technical analytical skill set but also the ability to work closely with the business to attract further institutional capital.
