Exciting 6-month role for an experience Project Management Officer/Assurance Analyst in a high profile organisation.

This revered and long-established health and community services provider has now completed the planned integration of its numerous businesses to create a massive, multi-faceted entity including service provision in regional and remote and indigenous communities.

If you are an experienced Assurance Analyst, this is an exciting part-time opportunity for 2-3 days per week for a 6-month period. Starting as soon as possible, the key duties of this role are:

  • Providing high quality independent assurance to key transformation programs and steering committees
  • Being a supporter for and champion of the pragmatic use of the Stage Gate review process
  • Having a solid attention to the integrity of scope and the achievability of outcomes and benefits for programs and projects
  • Leading an independent program and project assurance reviews to provide action plans to increase delivery capability
  • Studying and collaboratively assisting projects and programs to improve Business case submissions and project documentation
  • Creating and managing reviews at key project stages or changes
  • Managing the progress of projects against the agreed outcomes
  • Conducting regular status health checks, perform data collection and analysis and derive meaningful insights to aid decision making
  • Ensuring programs are greater than the sum of their component parts
  • Providing expert guidance on high level definition and planning of projects throughout the process
  • Focusing on assisting stakeholders to gather data / measurements and the systems around benefits planning throughout the benefits lifecycle
  • Ensuring quality planning and risk management practice is followed
  • Presenting materials orally and in writing

The successful candidate will be experienced in the following areas:

  • Able to engage and build partnerships with different business units and stakeholders
  • Experience working in a portfolio or program office function in a governance, planning or senior support role
  • Project delivery experience with a focus on quality and assurance
  • Process mapping and continuous improvement
  • Senior stakeholder and relationship management
  • Experience working in a Prince2 environment
  • Ability to document and write frameworks / processes
  • Strong analytical thinking and an ability to see the bigger picture

It would be highly beneficial to have experience in project planning tools such as Microsoft Project and be Prince2 or P30 qualified.
