IPA has an exciting opportunity for a Professional Financial Planner/Advisor to make their mark in the Cairns community. A leader in their field, this well established and very well respected local firm can offer rewarding work with an existing client base for the right applicant.
Working alongside a team of professionals within the wealth management sector, you will have the ability to grow an existing portfolio of medium - high net worth clients (along with individual clients) and use your technical skills to provide sound advice within a legislative framework.
You will have at least 2 - 5 years experience working as a Financial Planner and your responsibilities and knowledge will cover everything from superannuation, insurance and retirement planning to Business succession and investment strategies.
To be successful in this role you will:
- possess excellent communication skills across a range of stakeholders
- enjoy working in a team environment and conducting professional one on one client interviews
- a solid understanding of the latest legislative requirements surrounding the industry
- have excellent business development and networking skills in the local community
- be qualified with a minimum of an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services
- Sound software experience - COIN, X-Plan
- preferably have a degree qualification
