The Role:

Global Fintech business that provides lending to SME's requires a Credit Risk Manager for their Risk and Operations team.
 
You will be expected to be the in house expert on a portfolio of loans and achieve this through the rigorous monitoring of industry, customers, products, financial developments and by building a detailed knowledge of portfolio risks and concentrations.

As a Credit Risk Manager, you will: 

• You will maintain financial models and complete reviews for assigned coverage.
• You will present credit updates to team leads, senior management, and other department review forums.
• You will regularly update peers and colleagues in the Ops and Risk functions to help inform tactical and strategic discussions
• You will prepare periodic Monthly Portfolio monitoring reports, deep dives and adhoc analysis as required
• You will coordinate review scheduling and ensure compliance with internal/regulatory requirements.

Headquartered in NY, the company has originated more than $7 billion ($USD) in loans.  

Requirements:

To be considered, you will need;

• Do will have an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• You have relevant work experience; experience in a credit portfolio management at a regulated bank or finance company
• Experience with Return on Equity/Capital models is preferred
• You have sound understanding of credit analysis, including industry and business analysis, financial modeling, and an understanding of capital structures
• You have consistent track record of success with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• You can interact and build relationships with people of varying seniority and across multiple geographic locations.
• Good communication skills and comfort presenting in front of groups of varying size and seniority.
• Strong writing skills.
• SQL, R and BI tool Experience (such as Tableau)
• Experience with developing junior employees is preferred.
