Reporting to the Manager, Underwriting Support, this is a full time support role which is primarily responsible for assisting with the daily workflow of all loan applications.
Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Assisting daily workflow of loan applications;
- Ordering / receipting / reviewing valuation reports and following up on queries and appeals;
- Employment / accountant checks;
- Pipeline management including following up on outstanding conditions placed on approvals and providing a final recommendation to the Underwriter;
- Completion of credit impairment, mortgage arrears and serviceability calculator;
- Obtaining the LMI approval where required;
- Conducting unconditional verification calls;
- Answer general enquiries concerning loan status and product guidance to originators.
To be successful for this role, you will have:
- Minimum of 2 years experience within a mortgage loan processing role or equivalent essential;
- Sound knowledge of NCCP; AML/ CTF and the Privacy Act
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
- Great phone manner;
- Self motivated and autonomous;
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders;
- Excellent customer service skills.
