Potential to move to COO or Equities Sales Trader in a couple of years

You will be working for a top tier mid-cap stockbroker who are looking to expand their operations.

Equities Trade Support - Execution (DTR) / Operations

You will be the contact point and responsible for the execution of equities trades / DTR responsibilities (qualification not a must). Operational responsibilities included. You will need excellent communication skills whilst liaising with the sales & trading desk, Operations and various external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for client execution for equities trades
Performing DTR (Designated Trading Representative) tasks
Accurate booking of both Institutional and Retail trades and confirmations
Settlement of all corporate transactions - IPO's & Placements
Experience in international institutional DVP settlement process
Trade capture, trade validation, amendments, trade lifecycle events, resolving queries and reconciliation
Daily oversight and sign off of the reconciliation and control framework
Contribute to continued process improvement and enhanced collaboration
Awareness and review of new product approvals and trade bookings
Formation of strong and productive relationships with our business partners (ACH, ASX participants, Settlement Agents)
Proactively understand and respond to developments in the local and global regulatory environment

Skills & experience:

Equities execution 2 + years / DTR (ideal not a must) experience
Minimum of 5 years relevant Equities Operations / Trade Support experience
Knowledge of CHESS settlement & familiar with IRESS
Have an ability to work at a fast pace and tight time frames
Ability to process large volumes
