We currently have an exciting opportunity to join ING Australia as a Personal Lending Manager (known internally as the Customer Manager (ING Lounge). The Personal Lending Manager will report to the Branch Manager and sit within ING’S First and only Flagship Branch based in Wynyard Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity to join ING with the successful candidate being responsible for driving the business forward across all things personal lending while providing a first class customer experience.
This is a challenging and rewarding role where the successful candidate will engage with the local community to enhance their financial well-being and help them stay a step ahead. The ideal candidate will be a passionate customer-centric financial professional who is keen to grow their career within a global bank!
Responsibilities
- Understand individual customer needs, budgets and lifestyles to help identify personal lending opportunities
- Conduct self-generated sales activity
- Conversion of mortgage leads
- Provide exceptional ‘customer experience’
- Manage customer from enquiry through to sale
- Follow-up leads and prospects
- Be pro-active in increasing own knowledge and providing value to the ING business
- Develop own skills in line with career aspirations
- Driving your own career – involvement in sub-committees
- Cross training on additional products / departments
The successful candidate will have:
- Completion of Cert IV Finance Services or RG146
- Intermediate PC skills
- Home Loan sales experience
- Prior experience working in a retail branch environment
- Experience working with personal lending and wealth products
- Time management and ability to follow a set workflow schedule
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to work as part of a high performance team
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a busy environment and under pressure
- Self-motivated and goal orientated
