Reporting to the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Officer will provide support in meeting the treasury commitments of Credit Union SA. This role will be responsible for the administration of daily processes relating to liquidity and cash management.

The Treasury Officer will also be required to provide assistance in the timely and accurate completion of internal and regulatory reporting, as well as assisting in the annual financial reporting process. The management of communication with internal and external stakeholders is also an important aspect of this role. Working within a high performing team environment, you will need to be a team player who enjoys contributing to the overall business objectives.

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following skills and knowledge:

  • Demonstrated experience in daily liquidity and cash management;
  • Strong numeric and analysis skills with excellent attention to detail;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Knowledge and understanding of data and information management;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders both internally and externally;
  • Ability to build and maintain working relationships within all areas of the organisation.

Knowledge and experience of financial services, as well as prior experience in a similar role, are essential for this role. A positive, results driven attitude and a drive to succeed are also important requirements. The possession of strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to thrive in a team oriented, collaborative environment are also important attributes for this role. 

Completed or close to completion, tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or Accounting are a requirement of this role.
