We're a boutique mortgage brokerage, located in North Strathfield, that's aiming to be the best in the industry! Due to our stellar performance, we're seeking a superstar loan processor committed to helping us achieve exceptional results for our customers.
About the role
Working closely with the broker & assessment team, your primary function will be timely assessing, packaging & submissions of loan applications while assisting with managing customers through to formal approval. Your tasks will include:
Managing customers from once the loan is submitted to settlement. This will include:
- Promptly responding to customer emails & phone calls
- Setting expectations with customers by under promising and over delivering
- Managing support to ensure bank follow ups are completed correctly
- Updating customers regularly
- Ensuring all settlements & finance clauses are met with ample time
- Escalating loans with BDMs
Assisting the overflow of work from the assessment & support team by:
- Packaging new loans applications which will be submitted to the bank.
- Assessing new loan applications and providing a proposal to the broker team on which bank & product you believe is most suitable for the customer
- Ordering valuations & pricing requests
- Assisting customers with discharges, deposit bonds & first home owner grant applications
- Preparing Preliminary Assessments
- Data entry of applyonline

Skills and experience
- Amazing attention to detail!
- No experience required however tertiary degree in mathematics, accounting or commerce/finance is required.
- Experience in customer service role preferred
- Excellent work ethic, professionalism and can do attitude
- A willingness to forge a career in the industry
- Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to understand a customer's needs
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
