We have an exciting opportunity to join TMBL as we expand our branch network into Queensland.
We are currently seeking an experienced Mobile Lender to service North Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. In this Greenfields role you will provide a service for members seeking the convenience of an at-home or workplace interview that creates or retains a relationship with Teachers Mutual Bank predominantly in the area of mortgage lending.
Responsibilities include:
• Developing prospects from our current member base, referral leads and other sources
• Contacting prospective members to present information on available mortgage lending products and associated products and services
• Consulting with members at external locations (home/office) and providing advice in relation to loan applications and other TMB products and services
• Providing members with conditional approval within specified limits and ensuring loan agreements are complete and accurate
• Handling member loan applications from initial lead to post settlement service
• Maintaining knowledge of competitors’ products for accurate comparisons
It is essential that applicants have excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills and a proven track record in home loan sales (at least 3 years). You will also need to be FSR Tier 2 Accredited and have an unrestricted driver’s licence. Business development and mobile lending experience as well as a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Lending Stream) would be highly regarded.
We are looking for an individual who has the ability to work unsupervised and thrive on generating business development opportunities. You will also need to be self-motivated, target driven, have good attention to detail, be able to work under pressure and have the confidence to represent TMBL and maintain our high member service levels.
