• Senior Pricing Analyst
• $80,000-$105,000 + Super + 20% STI
• Sydney CBD - Permanent

The General Insurance (GI) line of business underwrites home and motor insurance products offered through branch, contact centre and online channels to over 850,000 customers.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Specifying, building and operating pricing models to meet business needs, including the development of new approaches and techniques.
• Leading the development of repeatable technical pricing processes by leveraging off both internal and external data.
• Producing accurate and reliable monitoring and forecasting to support decision making and action planning.
• Communicating and presenting analytical results to senior management and stakeholders.
• Building and maintaining effective working relationship with key stakeholders.
• Undertaking ad-hoc data driven analysis to support business operations.
• Assist with developing the capability of others through effective coaching and mentoring.

Your Skills & Experience

• Knowledge in statistical and data programming tools such as SAS, SQL, R, EMBLEM
• Ability to deconstruct complex problems, identify direct relevancy to the business and create innovative solutions with a strong commercial acumen.
• Ability to communicate insights in a clear and concise manner that is tailored to the audience.
• Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders.
• Strong time management and organization skills, with the ability to multi-task and project lead.
