Banking Client Services Officer (Deposits and/or Trade Finance)
Shinhan Bank is one of the world’s leading financial institutions operating in 20 countries worldwide with around 15,000 employees. Due to growing demand and our strong focus on the global markets, we launched a new branch in Sydney in July 2016.
We are currently seeking an energetic individual to join the Operations Team due to business growth. This opening is a full-time permanent position and will be an exciting opportunity for your career progression in banking and financial industry.
Responsibilities
Client services operator role (Deposits and/or Trade Finance)
Domestic and international fund transfer via SWIFT
General back office tasks
Ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills (Korean speaking ability is essential)
Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
Thorough understanding of banking industry and the Australian market
Comprehensive knowledge of various retail banking products such as deposits, remittance, etc.
Knowledge of payment transactions including SWIFT, CS1, CS2 and CS4
Understanding of the latest version of UCP, URR, URC, etc. highly preferred, but not required
Prior experience in Banking or Finance is an advantage
Tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, finance or related areas preferred
