About the role
This is a high-level administration and coordination role, with emphasis on your spectacular attention to detail, excellent communication skills, process and quality focused, whilst highly efficient ensuring strong value added. You will be entrusted with complex duties and sensitive information. You must be an organised, highly effective Risk Officer with the ability to juggle and prioritise task and create exceptional stakeholder experiences.
Skills and experience
Responsibilities :
- Assist in developing the company's risk and compliance framework and integrated risk management strategy
- Develop, review and implement risk management plans, policies, procedures and tools
- Review, monitor and document continuous compliance and risk audits, provide regular risk reports
- Identify and advise on Australian Financial Services License obligations
- Provide general advice to the Executive Team and staff on audit, control assurance, risk management and ensure company employees are kept up to date and informed regarding company's risk and compliance framework, perform regular compliance and risk training
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- At least 5 years' experience in risk function in Financial Services industry
- Qualified as a Responsible Manager and have performed in the role for at least 1 year
- A good understanding of AFSL regulatory framework
- Degree qualified in applicable Financial Services qualifications
- Strong work ethic and a self-starter
