Australian Affordable Housing Securities Limited (AAHS) is a major provider of National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) homes across Australia. We established the Australian Residential Investment Fund (ARIF) and, in collaboration with the state and federal governments, we are responsible for the allocation and management of over 3,000 affordable dwellings.
Through this scheme, we have enabled over 2,700 investors to participate in the NRAS providing affordable housing to over 6,000 mid to low income earners across Australia. NRAS seeks to address the shortage of affordable rental housing by offering financial incentives to owners in exchange for renting dwellings to low and moderate income households at a rate that is at least 20 percent below the market value rent.

About the Role
This challenging role will provide you with the perfect balance between independence and support.
This role will be responsible for delivery of compliance outcomes and responsibilities for the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS) and Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). This role will administer compliance for a portfolio of NRAS properties across Australia. Exceptional customer service will be imperative towards investors and other stakeholders while maintaining detailed and accurate information which will make your role critical to the achievement of AAHS short-term and long-term goals.

- Meticulous attention to detail and a thorough methodical, systems-driven approach to delivering compliance outcomes.
- Excellent teamwork skills and an ability to manage high volume workloads.
- A strong knowledge of computer systems/databases and processes such as Console, bespoke databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the residential tenancies legislation in a number of Australian jurisdictions, Residential Services, and NRAS legislation, and AFSL requirements.
- Experience in a Compliance based role.
- Experience interpreting and applying legislation such as the residential tenancies legislation in a number of Australian jurisdictions, Australian Financial Services Licencing and NRAS legislation.
