About the business and the role

We work with clients at all levels which will require you to have experience in Xplan, preferable experience in the financial services industry, ability to work well in a team environment and a positive attitude to life.

The Client Services Officer will assist with the day-to-day function and success of our busy office. We are looking for an outgoing and motivated Client Services Officer to act as a professional contact with clients and other external / internal stakeholders. The core purpose of the role is to provide support to the financial planners and paraplanners as well as administration and client support in order to provide our clients with a positive professional experience.

The successful candidate will undertake a range of duties which fall within four key areas:

  • Preparation of Client Service Agreements & Fee Disclosure Statements
  • Provision of administrative support to the financial planning team (advisers and paraplanners)
  • Maintaining and updating internal and external client databases
  • General housekeeping and office duties
  • Other duties as required

 

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Prepare Client Service Agreements & Fee Disclosure Statements as required
  • Assist with client enquiries
  • Communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide assistance with processing invoices, account payments and office expenses (where required)
  • Provide administration support to the Financial planning team
  • Maintain accurate Xplan records
  • Maintain external stakeholder client records

About you

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills and experience:

  • Xplan experience essential.
  • Solid understanding of the financial services industry, 
  • ability to lead and work well in a team environment
  • a minimum 2 years financial services experience
  • Strong attention to detail and well organised
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a professional team
  • Microsoft Office - intermediate level
