The role:

Reporting to the Head of Equities and Governance, you will play a pivotal role in providing input to the strategic direction and capital allocation decisions of Hostplus' listed equities asset classes. As an experienced Investment Analyst, you will be accountable for the management and oversight of our Australian Equities, Developed Markets Equities and Emerging Markets Equities multi-manager portfolios.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support with the development of the short, medium and long-term listed equities strategy.
• Monitor and analyse existing investment managers.
• Participate in internal projects (equities, ESG-related or otherwise), as required, by supporting project managers or independently managing own tasks.
• Engage with prospective managers and participate in the due diligence process led by the asset consultant.
• Monitor market and economic conditions and assess their impact on the equities portfolio.
• Keep abreast of markets developments and regulatory changes.
• Work closely with Senior Management and other stakeholders on key business priorities.

We are seeking a highly proficient and experienced Equities Analyst with a genuine desire to be part of a small and highly successful Investment team.

Ideally, you will have experience within the superannuation industry, funds management or consulting with proven track record of demonstrating both qualitative and quantitative skills. You are naturally a pragmatic thinker with an open and honest communication style and can articulate complex information in both written and verbal form.

It's essential you have a tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, economics, actuarial or other related disciplines.
