The role

We are looking for an exeptional Commercial Analyst to report and drive consistent interpretation of our reporting, whilst guiding and monitoring our Sales organisation at the level of regional managers, account managers and support. You will be the link to our Business Intelligence team and will use knowledge of existing systems, business processes and technologies to develop, define, streamline and deliver reports, analysis and insights across the organisation.

What you will be responsible for

• Analyse performance vs target across business segments and identify areas of weakness and opportunity the organization can address to improve sales, margins and profits
• Develop strong relationships with Sales Leaders, Regional and Account managers to drive improvements in the financial results of these businesses
• Support the creation of sales and margin training material and adoption of new tools and dashboards at all levels of the sales organization
• Identify and select different forms of reporting and analysis delivery methods such as mobile, dashboards, self-service tools
• Internal reporting to/for Sales Leaders, Regional Directors and Account Sales managers
• Monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other value added analysis essential to the optimal performance of our sales organization, recommends revisions to existing reports, or assist in the development of new reporting tools as needed
• Recommends revisions to existing reports, and assists in the development of new reporting, improved business processes and tools as needed
• Standardize and drive consistent interpretation of internal reporting and analysis

What you will already have

Essential

• A logical approach to problem solving combined with the ability to conceptualize and think creatively
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Strong oral and written communication skills to deliver complex quantitative information in an easily understood manner across the sales organization
• Attention to detail and accurate
• Passion to drive value from providing pragmatic, insightful tools to a selling organisation
• An ability to pick up new concepts, ERP systems and reporting tools quickly and utilise these for efficient reporting and analysis
• Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Business, Finance, Economics or Science
  

Preferred

• Experience with Excel, Tableau and SAP ERP and Salesforce.com
• Experience with advanced analytical and reporting tools
