The Company
Step into this Portfolio Analyst Role within a leading Global Investment Manager here in Sydney’s CBD. This is a unique opportunity has come up with one of Sydney's most well know and highly sought after Investment Managers. They are looking for an Investment Analyst with strong quants and investments knowledge who has strong knowledge across Cash and Fixed interest as well as alternative credit investment strategies.
Your Opportunity
This is an excellent long term opportunity for you to sink your teeth into getting to partner with market leaders within your own company. You will be responsible for;
Investment manager research experience as it relates to fixed interest; and
Quantitative experience in terms of risk modelling specifically factor analysis, performance attribution and portfolio construction methods.
Identification and recommendation of investment managers with a view to them exceeding the risk and return objectives of each Interest Rates sector fund and sub-asset class strategies.
What You Will Look Like
You will have approximately 5 years’ previous proven investment experience gained within an investment manager, superannuation fund or investment bank in research/strategy or portfolio management, a financial markets or capital markets role. You must posses quantitative experience and be highly proficient in excel spreadsheets and statistical software packages related to the finance industry eg. Northfield and Factset. You must have strong understanding of investment risk with sound knowledge of investment, financial markets and product knowledge.
The Skills You Need
You need strong Investment Experience within Fixed interest ideally as well as quantitative knowledge.
Apart from technical, they are looking for strong team player who has the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
