Our client is a leading banking organisation with an excellent reputation in the market. They are currently seeking experienced Compliance Advisory professionals to join their Line 2 Business Banking team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to;
- Providing advice and guidance to compliance to the wider Business Banking stakeholders, whilst providing effective expertise
- Monitoring regulatory landscape within financial services industry for changes that will impact the Business Banking group
- Compliantly work with Business Banking and enable the development of policies and frameworks
- Maintenance of policy frameworks for all relevant businesses
- Working closely with Line 1 to manage and mitigate incidents
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of compliance policies, standards and procedures and systems across the Business Banking and wider Group.
To be successful in this position, you will have;
- Compliance Advisory experience within a Financial Services organisation
- Preferably experience within Consumer banking i.e. consumer lending, NCCP, and Corporation Act etc.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications within Law, Banking and Finance
- Ability to read & interpret legislative changes into practise
- Technically strong with ability to use initiative
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, both written and verbally
