You will be taking charge of all facets of loan origination for our customers. You will enjoy variety in a role that allows you to nurture sales leads, conduct credit assessments and manage a portfolio of customers.

The role is based at the Stone&Chalk fintech hub in the Docklands, Vic.
Responsibilities

Provide a delightful experience to customers looking to take out personal loans

Contact leads and nurture prospective borrowers to increase applications volumes.

Proactively manage a sales funnel and follow up sales leads and opportunities to completion

Manage risk by accurately assessing personal loan applications

Educate customers about borrowing and ensure the product is suitable for their needs

Provide exceptional servicing support to customers in relation to new loan enquiries, applications or existing loans

From time to time, support the broader business in initiatives to improve business performance, efficiencies and customer satisfaction

Experience

The ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years experience in consumer finance sales and preferably been exposed to risk-based pricing methods and underwriting.

In that time, you've built a track record of achieving sales results and providing quality customer service

Exposure to consumer lending and credit assessments would be an advantage

Knowledge around product disclosure and financials services practices are highly valued. Additionally, exposure to regulatory frameworks such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), NCCP Act, and FSRA is seen as advantageous

Tertiary education in a business related discipline is also an advantage
