This is a truly exciting opportunity to be part of a growing start up supported by strong financial investment and an impressive senior leadership team. My client is an advanced analytics consultancy supporting clients predominately within the financial services.
This is a hands on Senior Analytics Manager role and would suit an Analytics Manager looking to take the next step in their career; the role will be based in Sydney however the role has international scope with global opportunities available.
Given this is a start-up we are looking for an individual is comfortable working in a flexible and fast paced environment that will require you to wear a number of hats that will include;
- Leading and developing a small team of analysts with a view to further growing the headcount and capabilities of the team
- Identifying and implementing data analytics strategies
- Developing advanced analytics solutions that will include forecasting, data mining and predictive modelling; you will be required to act as a technical lead and be comfortable being hands on
- Identifying global market opportunities
We are looking at individuals who can demonstrate the following skills and experience ;
- Proven people management experience
- Strong advanced analytics skills with the appetite and capability to be hands on
- Innovative and entrepreneurial in your approach
- Financial services and/or consulting experience highly advantageous
- Proven experience in working with SQL and R
- Tertiary qualified in a quantitative discipline
