As a part of their growth plans in Australia, a global financial services client is currently seeking a Senior Analyst to partner with the business and resolve key commercial issues through the design of delivery of advanced analytical solutions.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Advanced Analytics, you will analyse data from a range of sources and turn it into actionable insights for the wider business. Spotting patterns and emerging trends, you’ll ensure that the analytical strategies are based on a bespoke understanding of the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Engaging with internal stakeholders building strong and long-lasting relationships as well as understanding their business/marketing goals and constraints
- Building statistical models using SQL and R to focus on areas such as customer segmentation, market basket analysis and portfolio analysis.
- Working with diverse teams across the business to ensure that the quality of the data and models are of the highest standard
- Delivering insights and recommendations to C-Level stakeholders on how to improve their marketing performance and increase customer engagement
Key Skills
- Experience in modelling customer behaviour predictively using SQL /R/Python.
- Familiar with presenting your expert level insights to senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences
- Experience of storytelling and communicating insights
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical terms
- Fast-learner and ability to work highly independent
