About the role
The Relationship Manager actively manages a portfolio of Mercer-Client relationships around existing superannuation contracts.  In this role, you will translate how Mercer products and services can help meet client needs and expand the client superannuation relationship.
 
Core Responsibilities
  • Build strategic relationships with the client and key client stakeholders
  • Establish Mercer as a highly valued and trusted partner
  • Decision maker on contractual compliance, obligations, inclusions and exclusions
  • Escalation point for remedying complex issues
  • Identify and deliver revenue and service expansion opportunities around the superannuation relationship
  • Identifies and initiates new opportunities for revenue expansion across Mercer and MMC
  • Maintain a forward view of client business change such that significant client change risks
  • Assist the Sales team as appropriate with submissions and tenders
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree qualified and RG146 compliant
  • Ideally, a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a client relationship or business development role within a financial services environment
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, both at the individual and corporate level
  • Strong consulting and relationship skills that are applied with clients and internally to deliver confidence and trusted working relationships
  • A strong understanding  of all aspects of superannuation
