Our team provides independent review and challenge on Operational Risk and Compliance matters within the Group Support Functions. We do this by leading the implementation and continuous improvement of the risk management framework, through aligning the businesses to the Group’s Risk Appetite and Risk Management Strategy. We act as a trusted advisor thereby ensuring the business understands and is able to apply the appropriate risk measures all the while building and managing key stakeholder relationships.
Do work that matters
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, Group Support Functions you will take the lead in the delivery and ongoing development of a professional and highly valued monitoring and assurance program to Group Support Functions, consistent with compliance & risk management framework requirements.
You will work closely with colleagues both within the business / line 1 and other supporting functions. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Contribution to the design, implementation and ongoing improvement of compliance and operational risk policies, standards, procedures and systems across Group Support Functions and the Group.
- Delivering findings and observations, including agreement of factual accuracy, ratings of outcomes and remediation, where applicable, to key Line 1 and Line 2 stakeholders
- Collaboratively working with Group Support Functions compliance colleagues in the development, execution and maintenance of the Compliance Monitoring Plans relating to Group Support Functions

- Possess sound knowledge of compliance and operational risk management tools & techniques
- Have a strong team-work focus with excellence in driving results and delivering customer satisfaction
- Hold knowledge of the financial services regulatory environment and experience in financial services investigations or analysis
- Have previous experience in leading compliance monitoring and assurance activities
