Your new company
Our client is a leading stockbroking and financial services firm with offices around the country. An exciting opportunity has become available as a Team Manager.
Your new role
As a Team Manager you will be responsible for assisting in the training, support and guidance of the Adviser Assistants in Perth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead an existing team of Adviser Assistants and manage the day-to-day administration and operational needs
- Manage the teams recruitment, training, performance reviews, leave approvals and cover, and compliance
- Build relationships with the wider business to ensure a supportive, well-educated, team-based working environment
- Assist with client queries regarding trades and accounts, and liaising with third party product and service providers
- Preparation and management account administration documents and assisting with market related administration, portfolio and transaction preparation
- Managing the Statement of Advice process, compliance accuracy and timeliness
- Managing the timely settlement of trades
- Participate in in-house training and development and Continued Professional Development, keep up to date with policies and procedures, ASX business rules and Corporate Law requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience within a broker firm
- Leadership, coaching and/or mentoring experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to implement change and manage change management processes
- RG146 accredited
