A Trade Support Analyst with exposure to Equities, FX and Fixed Income is required for a FinTech Company that is launching a Sydney office.
This exciting and varied role will see your duties include:
- Monitoring trades across various asset classes
• Liaising with custodians, brokers and prime brokers
• Reconciliation of trades and holdings;
• Pre-trade setup of instruments and trade bookings across multiple fund structures and instruments including equities, derivatives, and FX.
• Complete full reconciliations across markets and systems.
• Conducting post trade analysis by maintaining / monitoring cash flow projections
• Contributing towards improvement and development of processes and performance.
• Producing various reports including monthly brokerage analysis and fee reporting.
Technical Skills & Qualifications required include:
Degree highly regarded with 1- 3 years’ experience in a Middle Office, Trade Support or Broking environment
Strong level of Investment Market knowledge with an understanding of investment vehicles and trade life cycle
Experience with reconciliations and trade administration experience;
High level of numerical ability, attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with counter-parties and stakeholders such as fund managers, brokers and custodians
Systems experience preferred IRESS (IPS, XPLAN) together with Microsoft Suite
Working in a dynamic team environment, you will be exposed to multi-facets of the trading and funds operations. You need to be a team player, a self-starter with a natural enthusiasm for financial markets and managed funds. The ideal candidate will have previous investment accounting / operations experience from a funds management or custody background and will have the ability to work independently in a high performing environment.
