About the role
We are looking for a customer focused, experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our hardworking finance team at Singleton Council. This role is required to provide accurate payment of Council's creditors within agreed trading terms, whilst ensuring that internal audit procedures are adhered to in regards to ordering, authorisations and payment.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience in an accounts payable function, demonstrated computer literacy, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide a high level of customer service, whilst processing high volumes of accounts within strict deadlines.

What’s on offer
The position is offered on a fixed term basis for a period of six months and will be required to work 35 hours per week and is placed at Grade 6 of the salary system. An attractive remuneration package is on offer between $52,431 and $58,977.
