My client are a growing travel company who are searching for a Finance Manager to join their team for a initial 6-month fixed term contract with the strong opportunity to become permanent thereafter.
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager to apply your technical and commercial skill-set and progress to build out the finance team.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a positive can-do attitude who is keen to take ownership of the role and contribute to the company's growth. You will relish a hands-on role undertaking end to end financials and you will need to possess an open approach to collaborating and sharing knowledge.

Job Responsibilities
- Build and run the finance recording, reporting and compliance systems
- Contribute to preparation of financial reporting and results
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Oversight and maintenance of transactional finance activities
- Responsible for statutory and tax returns ensuring compliance
- Advising senior management on financial matters and the impact on business
- Identify opportunities for modelling and perform analysis to present succinctly
- Responsible for month-end processes and general ledger reconciliations
Job Requirements
- CA / CPA qualified
- Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience in industry or practice
- Technically strong with knowledge of accounting standards and processes
- Tax compliance experience
- Demonstrated experience working with non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and highly organised
- Industry experience in Travel or Retail in highly desirable
