This resources organisation is seeking a motivated and driven Accounts Payable Team Leader/Supervisor to lead their accounts payable team of 3. This organisation has a range of interesting projects and has gone through impressive growth over the last 3 years.
The position
This role is a hands-on position where the duties will include but are not limited to:
- Processing invoices through to timely payment for Australian and overseas joint ventures/ sites.
- Overseeing a small team (2) of Accounts Payable to guide and mentor.
- Complex Intercompany journals with various foreign exchange gain/ loss
- Multiple Currency entry and payments
- Daily cash management forecasting input.
- Cash calls where needed to various sites.
- Assisting with monthly BAS return when required.
- Shareholder Dividend payments made and employee expense claims processed..
- Investigating any unclaimed monies from Shareholders.
- Month end process. Imputing/ creating of payments for approval and subsequent release.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Account / creditor queries and liaise with sites.
- Preparing back charges to sites/ receivables invoices.
- Management Fees invoicing.
- Database Consolidation of overseas entities

You must be pro-active, hands on and display strong work ethic, drive and passion to take on a dynamic, challenging yet satisfying opportunity. Your profile will include:
- Experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of international transactions
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- ERP system experience
- Excellent communication, numerical skills and data entry skills
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
