About the Role
Contract opportunities to work as a Financial/Tax Accountant for a well-known organisation have become available.These roles have a data quality focus with particular emphasis on ensuring that income, valuations, transactional and corporate events relating to managed funds and ASX listed equity holdings are reported correctly in client statements, including annual tax statements. Testing of income and capital tax events on tax statements and AIIR reporting is also a critical part of the roles. Success in this role requires excellent analytical and organisational skills and the ability to manage and interpret large volumes of financial data, including yearend tax information provided by fund managers and share registries.
Skills & Experience
• Minimum 4 years’ work experience in a similar role gained in a business services environment or financial services industry
• CA or CPA Qualified (or working towards)
• Strong tax technical knowledge and experience in Managed Funds and/or ASX listed assets is desirable
• Must be analytical and able to work in a changing environment
• Strong awareness of risk and compliance for business processes
