We are a small but growing Bookkeeping and Payroll Services company located on the Northern end of the Gold Coast.  We provide remote bookkeeping services to businesses located from the Gold Coast to Brisbane utilising all major small business accounting packages.  We are seeking an experienced person, who is self-managing and looking for a varied role, to join our firm to assist us in handling all aspects of our various clients bookkeeping and payroll needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Full functions of bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, journals and BAS preparation

·       Payroll and superannuation

·       Review of clients bookkeeping work

·       Preparation of correspondence to clients

·       Adhoc projects eg cash flows and budgets

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

·       Experience in a similar role

·       Knowledge of and extensive experience using at least some of the following accounting software packages – MYOB, XERO, Reckon, QuickBooks

·       Experience in payroll processing

·       Accounting background will be highly regarded

·       Experience using excel, word and outlook

·       Very good written communication skills

·       Attention to detail

·       Capacity to multi task

·       Ability to self-manage
