Your new company
This well established firm located in Melbourne's CBD is currently seeking an insolvency supervisor and a manager who is looking to take on their own portfolio of clients. The firm and partners are very focused on integrity and quality and offer exposure to a broad range of both Corporate and Personal assignments. The Role will offer you the chance to work very closely with the Partners and grow into a Management role.
Your new role
As a supervisor or Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of all technical support, advice and reporting on a wide variety of Insolvency matters, the motivation and supervision of a team of staff and you will be required to deliver comprehensive advice to clients. In your role you will also be responsible for:
• Financial and Operational Analysis of businesses offering financial advice in distressed situations
• Providing independent advice supporting the assessment, strategy, and execution of Liquidations, CVL's, VA's, Trade-Ons, Receiverships and Bankruptcies in the SME market.
• Conduct Detailed Financial Investigations and Financial Analysis
• Ensure Statutory Obligations are met
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the Corporations Act/ Relevant Legislation and The application of the act to a variety of situations
What you'll need to succeed
• Experience in a Senior Capacity Insolvency role
• Strong financial analysis and numerical skills
• Strong Stakeholder Management experience
• A strong work ethic and ability to adapt to a constantly changing business environment
• Appropriate accounting qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate will have a relevant accounting/business degree at least 8 years' insolvency experience in an Australian firm. You will have completed both your CA/CPA and will have strong communication skills.
